Go to infinity and beyond with your kiddo’s next birthday party! Toy Story has been a popular party theme for nearly two decades, and we’re excited to carry a brand new collection of Toy Story party supplies that feature all of the favorite characters in fun, bright, and bold designs that set the tone for a fun birthday party.
Besides providing everything you need to throw a Toy Story party, we’re also here today to share a bevy of fun Toy Story party ideas that will delight all of your party guests.
Toy Story Party Invitations
We offer three different Toy Story party invitations, so choose your favorite and send them out to your guests about a month before the party date. To make them your own, send a little toy with each invitation to get your guests geared up! For example, you could send plastic soldiers or Mr. Potato Head pieces that everyone should bring to the party and piece together on Mr. Potato Head.
Toy Story Party Decorations
Begin decorating your party space with some fun Toy Story party supplies. Suspend the Toy Story Game Time Birthday Banner across one wall, hang Toy Story 3 Swirl Decorations from the ceiling, and cover each table with Toy Story Game Time Tablecovers. Next, add some festive balloons, streamers, and tissue paper balls in coordinating colors, like turqoise and lime.
Now, it’s time for some DIY touches! You can go a couple different ways with your decor. If your kiddo loves Woody the most, then you could incorporate more western, country touches to go along with his sheriff character. For example, you could use cowboy hats, cow print tablecloths, and red bandannas. If your kid loves Buzz Lightyear more, then you could go with more outer space decorations. Or, you could make the decorations toy box themed and include all of the classic toys from the movie.
Toy Story Party Food
There are really fun ways to get creative with the party food! Here are some ideas to get you started:
- Pizza is a birthday party favorite, so serve some “Pizza Planet” pizza at your party! Pizza Planet makes many appearances in the Toy Story movies, so this is a fun way to make the menu themed! Cover the logo on the pizza box you receive with a Pizza Planet logo, which you can make on your computer or print through a Google Images search.
- It’s also fun to serve foods that are based off characters. For example, serve Slinky Dog Hot Dogs, Mr. Potato Head French Fries, Bullseye Carrots and Dip, and Hamm Pigs in Blankets. Label each food with a creative menu card.
- For dessert, bake up a batch of cupcakes and use plastic soldiers as the cupcake toppers, like this PartyPail customer:
Toy Story Party Activities:
Keep the kids engaged and having a blast with these ideas:
- As the kids arrive, keep everyone occupied with Toy Story coloring and activity sheets. Check out the Disney site for free sheets you can print off: http://toystory.disney.com/games-activities.
- To get everyone moving, play a game of Mr. Potato Head Relay! To do this, divide the guests into two teams and give one team a Mr. Potato Head and the other team a Mrs. Potato Head. Before the party, dress each Potato Head up with accessories and take a photo of each. Get two bowls and put the accessories from each Potato Head in respective bowls. Add some extra pieces, and set the bowls across from their respective teams. Give each team a blank Potato Head and see which team can replicate the photo quickest, while racing relay-style. Each guest must add one accessory at a time until it’s a perfect match. The first team done wins!
- For another fun game, check out our Toy Story 3 Pin the Tail Game. This game is played just like Pin the Tail on the Donkey, except the object is to pin the tail on Bullseye. The game comes with a game poster, two sticker sheets of Bullseye’s tail, and a paper blindfold.
- Don’t forget our party favors for fun game prizes! The kids will love our Toy Story bracelets, flying discs, key chains, and paddle balls.
