If you know a kiddo who loves Lightening McQueen, Tow Mater, and the rest of the Disney Cars crew, then it’s time to start your engines and begin planning a Cars 2 birthday party for his or her big day! We just added a whole collection of Disney Cars 2 party supplies to PartyPail, and with bold colors and playful designs, we think you’ll love them. Not to mention, we have a huge selection of fun Cars 2 favors and toys to make the celebration that much more fun.
To get the party started, today we’re going to share some Cars 2 birthday party ideas. Read on for decor, food, and activity ideas!
Disney Cars 2 Party Decorations
If you can, throw the party outside for natural light and plenty of room to let the kids run! A park shelter makes a great location for a Cars 2 birthday party. Begin by decorating the space with some Disney Cars 2 party decorations. Hang the Disney Cars 2 Banner from the doorway, suspend some Disney Cars 2 Danglers from the ceiling, and adorn the tables with Disney Cars 2 Tablecovers.
Next, add some coordinating solids to the mix to incorporate pops of color — and cut on cost! Our red and emerald coordinating solids match the Cars theme perfectly. Consider using balloons, streamers, and tissue paper balls and fans.
For some fun DIY ideas, consider adding the following touches to your decor:
- Orange cones
- Black and white checkered flags
- Black roadways made from black tarp with white stripes
- Inexpensive car props, like gas cans, tools, and parts
Disney Cars 2 Party Food
There are lots of ways to get creative with your Cars 2 party food! Here are some ideas to get you started:
- Stop light fruit kabobs made with strawberries, pineapple, and green grapes
- Stop light Rice Krispie treats with red, yellow, and green M&Ms on top
- Chocolate donut tires
- Tow-Mater Tater Tots
- Dipstick pretzel sticks
- Antifreeze green Kool-Aid
- Nuts & bolts Chex Mix
Serve all the sips and eats on our collection of Disney Cars 2 plates, cups, and napkins. Don’t forget to label each food with a menu card!
Disney Cars 2 Party Activities
As the guests arrive, get everyone warmed up for the party with our Cars 2 Paint by Number craft. Once everyone has arrived and finished their painting, you can set these aside to dry so your guests can take them home after the party.
Next, send the kids to the “body shop,” where they can all get Disney Cars 2 Temporary Tattoos, Cars 2 Hats, and Cars 2 Rubber Bracelets. Surprise the birthday boy or girl with a special outfit, our Cars 2 Costume!
Once everyone is decked out, it’s time for a treasure hunt! We have a fun Cars 2 Party Game treasure hunt kit that includes 32 character cards to hide and a treasure box. Just write the clues and send the kids out on a hunt! At the end, have the treasure box filled with Cars 2 favors and lots of fun candies.
After the treasure hunt, let the kids loose to play and run around. Set out games (including our Cars 2 Playing Cards), a ramp and toy cars for races, and lots of toys.
